La Llorona

My father kidnapped me as a youngin and took me to Mexico (apparently he was running from the law and had family in Mexico). We stayed by a creek and he would tell me this folk story to keep me away from the water at night. I didn't listen to him and therefore got the result of drawing #42. If you're curious, we lived in Chihuahua, Chihuahua for about 6 months. The story of La Llorona also was held deep within my being and has made me a part of who I am today. You can look up the story, but I will summarize it for you. She drowned her two kids in the creek. Said to roam creeks at night and drown little boys and girls in Mexico. In this drawing you can see I showed one of her children she murdered. She is also said to be wailing and crying, very sad.
