I started this arc almost as a break to myself from drawing detail. Also as a learning experience to push myself as an artist into restraint and simplicity. To teach myself composition and understanding focal points and how to properly use negative space. Also to understand simple shapes, forms and structures. This drawing is simply two crows in midnight twilight on olive branches or something of the sort. The tree wasn't directly inspired from any specific plant; I just wanted to include shapes as far as circles and give a dynamic shape between the crows and the branches. Also, this was partially a request from a friend for "birds."
