I had this idea of showing a woman being encapsulated in vines. I wanted the story of how this happened to be unclear. I also wanted her face to not share a distinctive emotion. With this drawing and a few after I was determined to push the amount of skill and detail I could put into a detailed drawing. I really like the way this looks but I also feel I made those vines and thorns a bit too bushy.
