I was disappointed when I finished this that this character looked very ambiguous or with a fluid identity. It looks boy and girl. This is a cartoon image of myself with clothes that resemble a “black sheep.” This is how I’ve always felt about myself. I have also felt very special and gifted. When the world hates those qualities, be it outcast or someone whom shines, life can be very rough. It’s almost like a birth defect or scar or wound upon my soul. Over time I have learned to embrace it and find my power and inner peace in being different. With that confidence, the world (pictured here as monsters) cannot touch me and cannot harm or alter my spirit and true self.
